PC-1N series power amplifier, features, clear and transparent, yet powerful and solid. Dynamic, deep, detailed sound with exceptional balance. Each PC-1N model comes housed in standard compact 2U chassis. Even with substantial power rating of 900W/channel, PC9501N (2x 900W at 8 ohms) weighs only 13kg 50% less than conventional models in its class. Also PC6501N (2x 650W at 8 ohms), PC4801N (2x 450W at 8 ohms), PC3301N (2x 315W at 8 ohms) and PC2001N (2x 200W at 8 ohms) all featuring kind of sound quality and reliability that only PC series can deliver. PC-1N series features smaller components throughout, improved efficiency achieved by new switching regulator and EEEngine technology. Smaller part size, in turn, gave Yamaha engineers new freedom in component layout, offering wider range of alternatives in choosing parts, circuit design, and internal layout that could be implemented to maximize sound quality and reliability. PC-1N models features performance-enhancing symmetrical layout. Circuit boards prone to heat generation, for instance, have been located on both sides of amplifier with large heat sinks and low-noise variable-speed cooling fans. This arrangement also absorbs vibration that can result in unwanted noise. Also, heat sinks are mounted to side panels with insulated screws to eliminate chassis resonance that can cause noise. Remote amplifier monitoring/control via CobraNet network. An advanced Yamaha switching regulator and high-efficiency EEEngine technology.
