Ceiling loudSpeaker consists of 5-inch bass/mid frequency driver and 1-inch ferrofluid-cooled neodymium soft dome tweeter, matched with an internal passive crossover network, in an easy-mount paintable ABS ceiling frame with perforated mesh grille. It has usable frequency range of 75Hz to 22kHz and features wide, conical dispersion pattern suitable for all high quality background music and speech applications. The front baffle incorporates an integral tuned port to optimise low frequency performance of loudspeaker and the high frequency waveguide is designed to increase output and ensure even dispersion. It is supplied as standard with constant voltage transformer for use on all 70 volt and 100 volt line distributed systems, offering multiple power taps plus low impedance setting which can be selected via an easily accessible rotary switch located on the front baffle behind the speaker grille. A universal ceiling-mount system, consisting of two tile rails and C plate, designed to fit into European or North American ceiling grids, is optionally available. It conforms to BS5839 fire prevention standards, as well as IEC/EN 60849.
