Telemetrics Unveils New Elevating Pedestal

Rai, Amsterdam (September 11, 2015) – Telemetrics is introducing a new member of the EP6 line of elevating pedestals, the EP6 Mini, at this year’s IBC show. The EP6 Mini features a compact profile and incorporates many standard Televator features for smaller robotic camera applications including broadcast news flash studios, corporate production, and distance learning lecture halls.

"Our new EP6 Mini elevating pedestal is designed to maximize space, enabling creative shots in even the smallest studios," said Anthony Cuomo, President, Telemetrics. The new EP6 Mini elevating pedestal comes in two sizes, the EP6M-400 and the EP6M-700. Pairing the EP6 Mini with the Telemetrics line of camera track systems increases the deployment options and enables camera shots that cannot be attained with traditional pedestals. The EP6 Mini is perfectly matched with Telemetrics’ RoboEye Robotic Camera, RCCP-1 Control System, TG4 TeleGlide© camera track, numerous third-party virtual set systems and PTZ heads from Sony, Panasonic and Canon. 

Among the many advanced features of the new Telemetrics EP6 Mini are variable speed with 32-bit encoding for incredibly smooth acceleration and deceleration; accurate, absolute positional servo and auxiliary control bus interface.
