AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc today announced the addition of two XTENDEX® HDMI Extenders to its popular line of Extenders. Both transmit digital video and audio signals up to 300 feet using one single CAT6/6a/7 cable.

Each video extender consists of a local unit that connects to an HDMI source and optional IR emitter, and a remote unit that connects to an HDMI display and optional IR receiver.

These extenders are ideal for digital signage solutions, are compliant with HDMI 1.3 and HDCP 1.2 standards and support HDTV resolutions up to 1080p and computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. Both units support the DDC2B protocol and contain support for CEC (consumer electronic control) compatible devices. Only a single power source is necessary to power both local and remote units.

Extenders come with a two year warranty and are ROHS compliant.

Available for immediate sale, the HDMI Extender costs $365 and $380 with IR capability.
