NTI Introduces the HDMI Quad Screen Splitter/Multiviewer

AURORA, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces the addition of the SPLITMUX® HDMI Quad Screen Multiviewer to its popular line of multiviewer products. The unit enables real-time 1080p video from four video sources to be simultaneously displayed on a single HD display.

The SPLITMUX-HD-4RT supports HDTV resolutions to 1080p and computer resolutions to 1920x1200, and is HDCP compliant. Available display modes include: Quad, Picture in Picture (PiP), Full Screen, and Custom. It Independently switches audio from connected HDMI sources. The unit features fluid, real-time video performance with 60 frames per second in all four quadrants when in Quad mode. HDMI features include: 24-, 30-, and 36-bit xvYCC, sRGB, and YCbCr inputs; 24- and 30-bit sRGB outputs; four-channel non-mixing or one channel mixing stereo with 16-, 20-, or 24-bit uncompressed PCM audio; and bandwidth up to 165 MHz (2.0625 Gbps).

The Multiviewer is controlled via the front panel interface, on screen display (OSD), web interface, Telnet, IR remote, or RS232. The SPLITMUX-HD-4RT can be cascaded to display video from up to 16 video sources on one screen.

Any DVI source or display can be connected to the Multiviewer using a DVI to HDMI cable. Compatible DVI + Audio to HDMI converters pass and independently switch audio signals to the multiviewer. Options available include: desktop unit, 1RU rackmount unit, or dual side-by-side rackmount units in 1RU. Rackmount units can be mounted so that the front panel buttons are facing the front or back of the rack, and come with a cable management shelf.
