Kramer Introduces the TP-580T and TP-580R HDBaseT Transmitter and Receiver

Clinton, New Jersey – Kramer Electronics, a worldwide supplier of innovative and reliable signal management products, introduces the TP-580T and TP-580R transmitter and receiver using HDBaseT LiteTM technology to send HDMI with embedded audio, bi-directional RS-232 and IR over distances of up to 230 ft. (70m). For resolutions above 1080p60 and up to 4k by 2k, distances of up to 131 ft. (40m) can be achieved. The products are ideal for use in diverse applications such as lecture theatres, houses of worship, boardrooms, classrooms; anywhere that HDMI needs to be sent over long distances, or where it is easier to run shielded category cable than traditional HDMI cables.
The TP-580T and TP-580R support HDCP, 3D Pass-through, Deep Colour, x.v.ColourTM, CEC, Lip Sync, HDMI Uncompressed Audio Channels, Dolby TrueHD, and DTS-HD. They are each housed in a compact Kramer Tool enclosure and powered by the supplied 12v adapter. The TP-580T and TP-580R are ideally partnered with Kramer HDMI cables and the Kramer BC-DGKAT623 DGKat™ shielded CAT 6 cable.
The TP-580T can be used with a receiver, or connected directly to the certified HDBaseT input of display devices from companies such as Panasonic and Epson.
