Hampton, NJ – October 12, 2010 – Kramer Electronics is pleased to announce the new Kramer Matrix™ iPhone application, as well as a new aesthetic change to its products that will enhance their professional appearance and increase the readability of the back panel.

 

The Kramer Matrix™ is the fastest and easiest way to locate any product from Kramer Electronics, either by name, functionality or format. It is Kramer’s proprietary product search engine that is organized using the same logical approach that any ProAV industry professional would use to determine a product for a specific application. This mainstay feature of our web site is now available as an app for use on iPhones. The app uses the same data as the offline PC based Desktop Matrix app (available on the Kramer Electronics Web site) and the online Product Matrix from our website at: www.kramerus.com/products.

 

This new Matrix™ app actively checks for updates, and will continuously be updated with the new products that are published monthly by Kramer.  The app is multilingual and supports the following languages: English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Polish and Spanish. Kramer Electronics has also focused its attention on the aesthetic details of their products. Beginning with Kramer’s VP-728/729/730/731 ProScale™ Scaler/Switchers and the new VP-747 In-CTRL™ Seamless Switcher, the exterior back panel, originally a metallic finish, is now being painted black. Benefits from this change include improved legibility, less light reflection, and results in an overall much more elegant appearance. This new enhancement will eventually permeate Kramer’s entire line of products.

 

In addition to painting the back panels, Kramer is also changing the paint style on its products, again beginning with the VP-728/729/730/731 and VP-747 models.  Kramer’s products will now be painted with a textured matte paint that is fingerprint resistant, and offers a more uniform and professional appearance as well.
