Six New Speakers Increase the Company’s Offerings in the A/V Marketplace

Hampton, New Jersey – December 8, 2008 – Kramer Electronics, a worldwide supplier of innovative and reliable signal management products, today introduced its SPK Series Speakers comprised of six models for various AV applications. The SPK Series is designed for use in professional AV environments or other multimedia applications. Their addition to Kramer’s full lineup of professional A/V signal management equipment allows dealers and customers to experience an even more complete one-stop shopping experience for all their projects with Kramer Electronics.

 

The SPK Series includes closed-back models with can backs and open-back models with round grilles for ceiling mounting. The line also includes an open-back model with a rectangular grille for wall mounting and an enclosed rectangular model for indoor/outdoor surface mounting.

 

The SPK-CO608 model speakers are round ceiling mount speakers and the SPK-IO608 are rectangular wall mount speakers. The SPK-IO608 wall-mounted speakers can be mounted vertically or horizontally, indoors as well as outdoors.  Both models are open back two-way speakers with a 6.5” woofer and 1” tweeter.

The SPK-OC608 model speakers are three-way closed back speakers designed for surface mounting for use both indoors and outdoors. They have a 6.5” woofer, a 25mm tweeter and 27cm piezo dome.

 

The SPK-CC688 model speakers are two-way speakers designed to be mounted in the ceiling. They have a closed back design with 8 inch metal cans and aluminum grilles. The dual driver coaxial speakers are designed with a transformer and behind-the-grille power selector switch with either direct 8Ω or 70/100 volt operation. The SPK-CC444 and SPK-CC448 model speakers are each two-way speaker’s ideal for being mounted in the ceiling. These dual driver speakers are designed with inch metal cans.
