KLIPSCH GROUP, INC. ENTERS NEW PRODUCT CATEGORIES AT IFA 2016

BERLIN, Germany (September 1, 2016) — Klipsch®, a tech-driven audio company, announced today that it is entering several new product categories including wireless multi-room audio, with six all new high-performance products that create a wide-ranging wireless eco system. Klipsch will also debut several headphone models and a range of premium speakers including the Heritage Wireless series at the pre-eminent IFA 2016 tradeshow, taking place September 2-7. Visitors to the award-winning Klipsch booth in Berlin will be among the first people in the world to see these all-new products in action.

New Klipsch Stream Wireless Multi-Room Audio System

The new Klipsch Stream Wireless Multi-Room Audio series is an ecosystem of sound bars, wireless speakers, legacy audio converters and USB DAC amplifiers that will feature DTS® Play-Fi® whole-home technology, enabling consumers to wirelessly stream virtually any source into any room of their home. The Klipsch Stream system is easily controlled by the Klipsch Stream app, which will be available for download on iOS and Android platforms.

It is one prong of a multi-faceted wireless audio strategy that also includes high-resolution audio systems such as Reference Premiere HD Wireless and flexible, Bluetooth® Wireless Technology solutions like Heritage Wireless and the Klipsch Groove®,” said Steve Jain, Vice President and General Manager of Digital, Streaming and Portable Audio Solutions for Klipsch.

New Klipsch Heritage Wireless Speakers

The new Heritage Wireless series will also make its first appearance at IFA with a trio of wireless speakers including one DTS Play-Fi variant. The One, The Three and The Sixes are inspired by the Company’s iconic Heritage Series speakers, featuring premium woods and metals, timeless designs and best-in-class acoustics.

New Sound Bars with HDMI 2.0 and 4K Ultra HD Compatibility

Four new Reference sound bars – the RSB-14, RSB-11, RSB-8, and RSB-6 – will debut at the show, each featuring HDMI 2.0 and the ability to pass through 4K Ultra HD video. The RSB-14 and RSB-8 are in the Klipsch Stream Wireless Multi-Room Audio series, boasting DTS Play-Fi technology for multi-room use.

New 70™ Anniversary Cornwall III and La Scala II Speakers

Continuing its 70™ anniversary celebration, Klipsch is launching 70™ Anniversary editions of the Cornwall III™ and La Scala® II speakers. Previously this year, Klipsch introduced 70™ Anniversary editions of the Klipschorn and Heresy III speakers. Like their counterparts, the 70™ Anniversary Cornwall III and La Scala II speakers feature unique aesthetics, customizations and are handmade in Hope, Arkansas. Limited to 70 matched pairs, each model is numbered and signed by the craftsman. Company founder Paul W. Klipsch originally introduced the Cornwall in 1959, while the La Scala arrived in 1963.

New Reference Premiere Dolby Atmos-Enabled speakers & Reference Premiere HD Wireless System

For the first time at IFA, Klipsch Reference Premiere Dolby Atmos® enabled speakers, and the Klipsch Reference Premiere HD Wireless system will be on display. International customers will be able to demo the products that have earned immense praise and awards from North American publications for their top-of-the-line performance and class-leading implementation of new audio technologies.

New Professional, Custom Install, Landscape Speakers, and DSP Amplifiers

A suite of new professional, custom install and landscape speakers as well as DSP amplifiers will be shown at IFA 2016, broadening the Company’s possibilities for world-class audio applications and offering unprecedented flexibility. The new Landscape series offers custom installers the unique ability to select between low impedance and 70v/100v installations without having to carry separate product lines, while custom, wide dispersion horn loaded tweeters offer dynamic, powerful sound in a landscape format.

New Headphones with New Technologies

Six new headphones will make their debut at IFA: the upgraded Reference On-Ear (II), Reference On-Ear with Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, Reference Over-Ear, Reference Over-Ear with Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, R6 and X12 Neckbands with Bluetooth® Wireless Technology. Strongly focused on embracing the wireless marketplace, these new headphones bring premium audio to our customers while building upon the comfort and acoustics that Klipsch headphones are known for.

New Jamo Digital Series

The Jamo® Digital Series will also make its European trade show debut, marking the brand’s entrance into the field of value-based Bluetooth® Wireless Technology, speakers. The Jamo DS1, DS2, DS3, DS4, DS5, DS6 and DS7 offer a variety of practical, durable, easy-to-use and stylish audio solutions including portable and countertop options.

Award-Winning Tradeshow Booth

The Klipsch IFA 2016 Booth is at stand #215 within hall 2.1 of the Messe Berlin Convention Center. IFA 2016 takes place September 2-7, with booths open for viewing from 10 AM – 6 PM each day.
