Brookfield CT, February 20, 2017--- Christie, Epson, NEC, Hitachi, Sony, Canon and Panasonic displays offer direct connection within IDK’s HDBaseT products for streamlined integration.
Industry-leading display manufacturers have partnered with HDBaseT to offer direct display connection and quick setup within HDC and MSD Systems. IDK has worked closely with these manufacturers to deliver full functionality within professional displays. Select display devices can have their twisted pair inputs configured, being recognized as receivers with MSD switching systems. This allows video, audio, RS-232, and Ethernet signals to be transmitted directly to the display from numerous models of the MSD switcher line, as well as directly from one of the many HDC transmitters.
Christie® D Series projectors feature a compatibility setting within the setup menu that allows the display to be seen and function the same as a receiver within an MSD system.
Select models of PowerLite® Pro Z, EB Series, and CB Series projectors from Epson® offer an HDBaseT quick setup menu feature to enable projector operation and recognition as an endpoint with MSD systems.
Hitachi® 5000+ and 8000+ Series projectors are fully compatible with IDK HDBaseT products, offering a simple menu setting to enable direct connection of the MSD Switcher over one CATx cable.
Panasonic® flat panel displays and projectors that feature Digital Link™ technology can also be set to accept signals directly from an MSD matrix switcher or transmitter for easy integration within the system.
