How to Use HDMI as an Audio Only Output - In the Lab
Posted on Thursday, August 19, 2021
In this video: Audio Free Run is a function for the AVPro Edge AC-MX-42X explicitly designed to bridge the gap between legacy HDMI AVR’s when used in conjunction with HDMI 2.1 Sources and Displays. It allows the integrator to seamlessly maintain 4K120 VRR video signals while simultaneously utilizing a legacy AVR for High Bit Rate audio such as Dolby Atmos or DTS:X.
