Remote-controllable input mic preamp provides 16 state-of-the-art mic-level analog inputs to Pro64 system. Each input channel features continuous gain control, +48V phantom power, low cut filter, phase invert, mute and network activation button. With switchable pad per channel, 6416m also accepts balanced line-level inputs. Audio settings for each channel can be configured directly from 6416m front panel or controlled remotely using the optional remote control interface (RCI) combined with the (mic control surface (MCS). Single MCS can be used to control all 6416m mic input modules in Pro64 system or those assigned to particular control group. Sixteen mic preamp presets can be saved in each 6416m to allow quick recall of commonly used settings. Mic preamp gain can also be remote controlled directly from Yamaha console when 6416Y2 A-Net interface card is installed by using m-control which allows gain, pad and phantom power changes sent form console to be transmitted over network.
