APC’s InfraStruxure® Solutions Help Improve Availability and Energy Efficiency in Support of Cisco’s Smart+Connected Communities Vision
West Kingston, RI – June 28, 2010 –APC by Schneider Electric, a global leader in integrated critical power and cooling services, is collaborating with Cisco in the Cisco Pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China. APC is providing its expertise and solutions demonstrating how its EcoStruxure™ architecture, incorporating the company’s InfraStruxure® architecture for data centers, supports the Cisco® Smart+Connected Communities initiative by helping communities save up to 30 percent off their energy bills.

Outside of the data center, Schneider Electric’s building management solutions and APC’s InfraStruxure management software portfolio integrate with Cisco EnergyWise to provide for more visibility and management of connected devices over the IP network, resulting in decreased energy consumption across the Cisco Pavilion, demonstrating how Smart+Connected Communities of tomorrow can make the most of their energy.
