The MAGIC AE1 DAB is 19-inch x 1 U DAB audio encoder with integrated monitoring decoder without fan. System supports ISO/MPEG 1/2 layer 2 codec from Institut für Rundfunktechnik (IRT) in Munich, Germany, according to EN300401 standard. Audio inputs/outputs can be configured as analogue or digital Aaudio interfaces. An RS232 interface for transmission of PAD (programme associated data) is also available. Audio monitoring decoder allows to monitor uncoded and coded audio signal. Additionally, audio signal to be monitored can be switched to headphones output. System can be operated via front keypad and graphical display.
