MAGIC AE1 DAB+ is 19-inch x 1U DAB+ audio encoder with integrated monitoring decoder without fan. System supports new MPEG-4 HE-AAC V2 coding standard, which was licensed by Fraunhofer Gesells-chaft in Erlangen, Germany. Remarkable feature of algorithm is its high efficiency for extremely low bit rates. Audio inputs/outputs can be configured as analogue or digital audio interfaces. An RS232 interface for transmission of PAD (programme associated data) is also available. Audio monitoring decoder allows to monitor uncoded and coded audio signal. Additionally, audio signal to be monitored can be switched to headphones output. System can be operated via front keypad and graphical display.
