We developed one speaker to cover 3 applications and minimize inventory.  As a full range speaker the ICM8 delivers very clear intelligibility and crisp music reproduction at a 100 watts in both  8 ohm and 70 volts with excellent off angle dispersion. Flip a switch and you have a passive 8 ohm or 70 volt sub to provide rich bass, and for high ceiling application flip the switch the other direction to have a high cut for increased brightness to provide increased intelligibility larger rooms and diffusion.
