Sound Specialists, Inc. (SSI) of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, recently installed Electro-Voice Sx600 dual line array loudspeakers at Kiwanas Baseball Field in Moncton – the latest in a long list of similar installations around the world for which the Sx600 continues to provide a unique solution, from the Olympic Games to high school football fields. Lee Forster of SSI designed the system, bringing a combination of weather-resistant reliability and sonic intelligibility to the venue.

“We picked the Sx600 as we wanted a loudspeaker that could provide high volume output and full range sound while being weather-resistant,” says Forster. “The double 12-inch configuration offered the best coverage and intelligibility. We’ve had very good results with this product before, and the customer is very pleased with the results.”
