LAS VEGAS, Nevada – December 2019 – McCann Systems and The Linq Hotel + Experience by Caesars Entertainment are proud to announce that the design and integration of The Linq has taken home top honors by SCN Magazine. The award celebrates the best Professional Audiovisual installations around the world and focuses increasingly on the end user experience. This is the second major casino installation award that McCann Systems has received in 2019.

Ambitious Project was Delivered On-time and On-budget

The project, including The Book, also designed and installed by McCann Systems, took approximately 16 months from kickoff to ribbon cutting. Refik Anadol, a digital media artist, created the DATALAND synthetic reality experience that is ‘performed’ on McCann Systems LED walls, ceilings, tunnels, and fixtures. 

A Sign of Casino Technology to Come

The final product has been billed as “The Casino of the Future” by media outlets and has been featured by many outlets as raising the bar in casino technology and audiovisuals. The architecture of the building itself has the sensors and AV built directly into it- a particular challenge considering it was originally erected in 1959. The new gaming offered by The Linq reflects this new trend in casino architecture and user experience- holographic gaming, virtual reality, digital art, E-sports, interactive multi-stage entertainment, arcade games, gaming arenas, shareable social media moments, and of course an immersive AV and Tech experience.
