PARIS/DALGETY BAY — May 3rd 2022 — VITEC, a market-leading provider of IPTV, Video Streaming and Digital Signage Solutions, will be showcasing its latest products at ISE 2022 at Fira Barcelona, May 10-13, on Stand 5K600. Following the acquisition of Exterity (now rebranded as VITEC) in 2021, VITEC offers a broader range of world-class IPTV solutions, with the combined teams working together to provide an even stronger portfolio to a wider set of markets and customers. At ISE, VITEC will demonstrate new additions and enhancements to its range, including the Avedia IPTV platform, ArtioSign digital signage application, ArtioView interactive viewing portal, ChannelLink IP distribution Gateway, and more.

VITEC Returns to ISE Stronger Than Ever to Engage, Empower and Evolve 

Visitors will be able to see the enhanced ArtioView, a fully customisable, interactive IPTV portal for a range of viewing environments, from hotels and cruise ships to student or workplace accommodation, stadium VIP suites, offices, hospitals or military camps. Designed specifically for use with ArtioView is the new AvediaStream m9500 Media Player, a cost-effective 4K/UHD IPTV end-point, which delivers interactive viewing portals and advanced network video decoding. Its quiet, fanless design, Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality and low power consumption make it an economical choice for environments where premium video quality is important.

ArtioSign has also enjoyed significant feature enhancements since it was last on show at ISE, including the new Data Connector, which delivers the ability to use data feeds to dynamically update a table, for example, automatically updating price changes on a menu board in a stadium concession stand. Files can be uploaded from where they are saved locally, or directly from SharePoint or OneDrive. The Avedia platform Smart Control App – which centralises control of VITEC end-points and non-VITEC devices such as large format displays – now has a new tablet-specific 'toggle' interface, enabling users to control a large site from the comfort and convenience of a single tablet. The feature additions are the latest in a long line of refinements that have been released since the last in-person ISE show.

Also recently announced is the new VITEC PRISM Transcoder, a high-performance, real-time IP video transcoding system that enables content to be adapted to an optimal format for efficient delivery to any device.  Rounding out VITEC's ISE showcase is the ChannelLink IP distribution Gateway, which acts as a central hub where IP channels from the field can be reliably received and retransmitted live. It is suited for efficient stream management, routing, rebroadcasting or IPTV stream reflection over WAN/Internet.
