MAXHUB® Wall Display Technology Ushers in a New Level of Engagement for the Citrus Valley Association of Realtors

The display's vivid imagery and text engages audiences—from any angle

Glendora, CA – June 2021… The Citrus Valley Association of Realtors® (CVAR) exists to promote, protect, and enhance each member's ability to successfully conduct business with pride and integrity. As part of its efforts to ensure its members' success, the CVAR recently upgraded its training / presentation facility with the addition of a MAXHUB LM165M07 165-inch LED wall display. The venue, which in addition to serving its realtor members, is also rented to third-party customers, is proving immensely popular—with much of that success being credited to the vivid imaginary provided by the MAXHUB display.

San Dimas, CA headquartered DJL, a leading professional audio and video design/build firm that services the education, worship, and numerous additional markets, was contracted to handle the installation of the MAXHUB display at the CVAR Training and Presentation Center. Darryl Lima, who as president of DJL, is actively involved in everything from sales and system design through installation and training, discussed the project.

"The training room where we installed the MAXHUB LM165M07 has a capacity for roughly 100 people," Lima explained. "Presently, the new MAXHUB display is being used for training purposes, video conferencing, and video presentations. One of the most appealing aspects of this 165-inch screen is that it enables individual presenters, or an entire panel seated at a table, to be in front of the display without casting shadows, as would be the case with a projection system. Equally important, the MAXHUB display proved to be much more flexible and less expensive than a standard video wall, while offering improved longevity and much easier on-site repair and maintenance."

In terms of content provisions, the new video display system includes a control system and a Kramer VP-440 switcher / scalar with 4 HDMI inputs and 2 VGA inputs. All presentations are streamed via a Tri-Caster system. The complete presentation system also has provisions for 12 channels of wireless microphones.

When queried about those aspects of the MAXHUB LM165M07 165-inch LED wall display that made this display the ideal choice for the CVAR Training and Presentation Center, Lima offered the following thoughts. "We were able to scale the size of the display to utilize every inch of available space on the wall behind the stage," he said, "and scale the resolution to be correct from the front of the stage to the rear of the room. The superbright, Hi-Res images generated by the display look fantastic from anywhere in the room—even extreme off axis viewing. The MAXHUB display is rated for approximately 30% longer life than a videowall and, being modular, can be repaired in literally minutes to correct something as simple as a single dead pixel."

With many AV installations, questions arise, so the ability to get responsive and capable support is crucial. In this regard, Lima was very impressed with MAXHUB's support services. "MAXHUB offers, and suggests, a factory technician be on-site to assist with the commissioning of your first install," Lima reports. "The present COVID-19 situation caused them to temporarily offer a 24/7 Zoom support session instead for a nominal charge. The company's support team was very responsive to all questions before, during, and after the install. I was really pleased."

The Citrus Valley Association of Realtors Training and Presentation Center was outfitted with the MAXHUB display in January 2021. Since that time, Lima reports the display is making a positive impression on all who encounter it. "The installation of the MAXHUB display turned out to be faster and easier to install than we had imagined," Lima said, "and all of us at DJL look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with MAXHUB going forward. The first time our client saw the display in operation, there were ear to ear smiles—it was better than anyone had imagined. All you could hear was everyone chattering about how many ways the MAXHUB wall display could be used to upgrade the various functions in this room. The display's vivid imagery, its sheer size, and its resolution left everyone breathless. You simply can't ask for more than that!"
