The Leading Power Control Manufacturer Took Home Two CI Awards for the New LCP Lighting Control Panelboard and Narrow Profile Panelboards

LENEXA, Kan. — July 7, 2021 — LynTec, a leading manufacturer of innovative electrical power control solutions for professional audio, video, and lighting (AVL) systems, is the winner of two 2021 Commercial Integrator BEST Awards. After being reviewed by the award's judging panel, LynTec's LCP Lighting Control Panelboard and Narrow Profile Panelboards both earned the publication's building enhancements award category for power conditioning, surge suppression, and energy solutions.

Designed exclusively for lighting and video wall installations, the LCP Series is built on the same internationally recognized Square D G3 Powerlink™ controllable circuit breaker platform as the patented RPC Power Control Series, but with the lighting control features these projects require, including increased installation flexibility. The controller electronics have been removed from the panel and mounted in a standalone, 12-by-12 enclosure. This increases installation flexibility and reduces wall space requirements. Additionally, the power supply has been moved into the primary panel enclosure, thereby eliminating the need for sidecars. As a result, the maximum width of a standard NEMA 1 enclosure is 20 inches.

LynTec's 9-inch-wide, column-width Narrow Profile Panelboards are the only power solution of their kind to maximize space efficiency while providing comprehensive power control to AVL installations. They hold up to 42 controllable circuit breakers, allowing system designers to create a customized power control system that is optimized for available space. The panels are ideally suited for industries, stadiums, performance spaces, and megachurches with robust AVL demands and unique infrastructure requirements. Customers can mix and match the Narrow Profile panels with LynTec's leading range of comprehensive power control panels, including the RPC Remote Control Breaker Panels, RPCR Automated Relay Panels, and NPAC Multi-Circuit Rackmount units within the same network on a single interface. From a single IP address, customers can set up, control, and monitor all their AVL sequences or controllable lighting zones across the facility with incredible ease and affordability.
