Jupiter Canvas 6.6 Software Update Available Now

Oct. 6, 2021 - Jupiter's latest update to its powerful Canvas collaborative visualization software ignites the power of our Pana displays, redefining the video wall space with the power of 5K.

Jupiter Systems is proud to announce the latest release of its Canvas software, Canvas 6.6. This update opens the full potential to drive synergy between Jupiter's wall video processors, extending the 5K resolution compatibility of the entire Catalyst portfolio to drive Jupiter's stunning Pana displays.

Pairing Jupiter's Catalyst XL, Catalyst V, or CRS-5K with a Pana 105 or Pana 81 allows users to take advantage the display's incredible real estate space.  Reimage the traditional video wall by leveraging a complete solution that only Jupiter can offer. With just one Pana 105 display driven by a single CRS-5K and running Jupiter's Canvas collaboration software user can replace small video walls, avoiding the need to invest in multiple displays, simplifying cabling and integration.

The Catalyst V and Catalyst XL video processors are capable of driving multiple Pana displays. A wide range of use cases can be achieved, with each Catalyst showing a maximum of 32 windows per panel. Security rooms, mobile command centers, sports venues, corporate meeting spaces, and many more can now benefit from these incredible synergies between Jupiter's range of products.

Canvas 6.6 update brings improved graphics to its users for a better user experience, alongside some increases in its security features such as expanded permissions set. Canvas 6.6 administrators will now be able to set a viewing mode only to some users to eliminate inadvertent exposure of sensitive data.

Canvas also will be able to run as a standalone media player on the processors, allowing to play ultra-high-quality content as a media signage feature, for instance, in perfect alignment for the usage of portrait mode Pana displays.

Jupiter's Canvas 6.6 now supports individual video files for an integrated media player, allowing to play superior quality content as media signage feature. The embedded media player simplifies installations and eliminates the need for dedicated external media players.

Existing Jupiter Canvas customers should contact their Jupiter account manager for detailed upgrade information. New inquiries please submit your request and an account manager in your area will follow-up.

Jupiter will feature more new products and active demos than ever before, from all categories of the business, at upcoming trade shows, including GiTEX, InfoCommand ISE 2022.
