Biamp Systems to Lead Education Sessions at Integrate 2016

Executive vice president of marketing will present multiple discussions on AVB/TSN, IoT, network convergence, and other trends impacting the pro AV industry

Held Aug. 23-26 at Sydney Showground in Australia, Harrison will discuss the important trends facing the professional AV industry.

In this panel discussion, Harrison will join other industry experts to discuss leading topics such as the expected timing of IoT, should we be focusing on 8K, and what will tomorrow’s collaboration spaces look like.

Why Should AV Care About IoT?
Aug. 24, 11 – 11:30 a.m.

This session will explore how the IoT conversation is evolving from addressing IT infrastructure issues to discussions surrounding innovation and the possibilities the IoT offers. Standards and their impact will also be discussed.  

Converged Networks and What This Means to Pro-AV (AVB/TSN)
Aug. 24, 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

The pro AV industry is currently evolving how it relates to and delivers on IT’s needs and expectations around the network. This session will help attendees define the term “converged network” and understand what this really means and how it impacts the pro?AV industry; including what the effects are in how networked AV solutions are designed and implemented.

AVB-TSN: Why It’s Important to You
Aug. 25, 1:30 – 2 p.m.
Location: InfoComm FlashTrack Theatre, Stand J79

This session will focus on the various network audio protocols in use in the commercial installation market. Centering on AVB-TSN, it will clarify why it will be an enduring standard for deterministic data for IoT devices and why this is important for the pro AV industry. The open AVB initiative and how it benefits companies in the industry will also be discussed.
