Presentation to discuss best practices for designing high-performance collaborative spaces

BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, has announced that Executive Vice President of Marketing Graeme Harrison will present a session for the Unified Communications: UC&C and Huddle Spaces educational segment at Integrate 2015. Part of the InfoComm Education Program seminar series, the session titled “Increasing Collaboration: How to Implement Effective Huddle Rooms” will take place on Aug. 26 at 12:00 p.m. at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre in Australia.

In the session Harrison will discuss how people work and communicate in today’s world, including how huddle spaces are enhancing the way employees, workgroups, and entire organizations collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. More specifically, the session will outline best practices for selecting design materials, integrating video hardware, and implementing audio solutions that support a collaborative environment. Harrison will address the audio and video needs of these spaces and how current practices and thought patterns need to change. Upon completion of the presentation, attendees will understand how to meet the collaboration needs and opportunities of today’s huddle spaces by leveraging soft codec for audio, extending desktop capabilities to the huddle space, and bringing greater efficiency to installations through networked technologies.

“As huddle rooms become increasingly valuable assets to today’s team-oriented workflows, organizations of all sizes are looking to implement solutions that allow both on-site and remote participants to take advantage of the benefits of enhanced collaboration,” said Harrison. “By taking a closer look into what makes a huddle space successful, the presentation will explain how meeting participants can experience more seamless communications without losing quality audio or video.”

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Harrison leads Biamp’s global sales, marketing, and product management departments, in addition to areas such as the company’s long-term strategy and management goals. Prior roles within the company include regional manager, international sales manager, and vice president of international sales. Harrison is actively involved with the TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) organization, an advocate for corporate social responsibility, and a co-founder of the Charitable Leadership Committee within Biamp.
