BIAMP SYSTEMS REPOSITIONS NEXIA® TO SUPPORT A MORE ROBUST DSP PRODUCT FAMILY
Posted on Tuesday, February 4, 2014
Nexia’s repositioning complements the new TesiraFORTÉ products and overall DSP product offering

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, today announced the repositioning of Nexia®, its award-winning distance conferencing system. This repositioning, effective today, is done in conjunction with the launch of TesiraFORTÉ — the latest in the company’s family of digital signal processor (DSP)-based media systems — and provides a well-rounded, powerful DSP product offering for the industry.

Designed for everyday audio solutions, Biamp’s Nexia products are engineered to satisfy users’ simple, routine requirements with professional AV solutions at an affordable price. Designed for reliable DSP delivery, Nexia provides the power needed for single-room provision of video- and teleconferencing, speaker processing, and multimedia presentations. In addition to the Nexia repositioning, the AudiaSOLO discontinuation (announced October 1, 2013) is on target for April 1, 2014. The AudiaSOLO product is the only device that will be discontinued in the Audia® line.

“This is a very exciting time for Biamp, and we are taking steps to ensure that even more customers have access to the most innovative commercial audio products available, regardless of the size of their need,” said Ron Camden, Vice President of Global Sales, Biamp Systems. “Our recent launch of TesiraFORTÉ provides us with the perfect opportunity to reposition our range of Nexia products, reinforcing their position as an easy entry to an incredibly robust DSP family of products.”

The repositioning of Nexia is effective starting today. More information on Biamp Systems’ full line of audio solutions is available at www.biamp.com.
