The LED 31 11 is a powerful (113 tungsten fc at 20') studio fixture delivering exceptional light output with surprisingly low power consumption and low heat. We under-drive our diodes to maximize longevity and performance over the 35,000 hour (min.) rated life. The 11° native lenses deliver a very directional light source suitable for backlighting and long throw applications. For key- or front-lighting talent, just add the far aperture extension bracket assembly and any number of gel sources and/or honeycombs for beautiful talent illumination, without the glare discomfort or multiple shadow effects. Beam shaping gels that convert the native round beam pattern into a horizontal or vertical pattern are also available for those instances where you want to light multiple talent positions with one fixture, or to keep flare off of other studio elements like monitors, screens or backdrops. The native beam angle is 11° both horizontal and vertical.
