The Supernova Epic CS is the “director’s cut” version of dnp’s award-winning Supernova Epic Screen. The screen is optimized to deliver a perfect viewing experience with movies in Cinemascope format (2.40:1) using projectors with a fixed lens system. Featuring the same revolutionary optical technology as the Supernova Epic Screen, this screen differs in that it has a fixed display format and therefore has neither masking system nor curtains. Created using award-winning optical screen technology, the Supernova Epic CS features high-contrast filters that enable optimal reflection of the projected image. The screen renders images in completely neutral colour for superior, realistic colour reproduction and has a completely passive, shimmer-free surface so you only see the projected image, not the texture of the screen. The perfectly curved screen prevents pincushion distortion and enhances both the perceived depth and uniformity of the image. The result? A captivating cinema-like viewing experience – almost as if you were surrounded by the movie! Supernova Epic CS comes in sizes from 96” to 156”.
