Swedish CapTech expands its range of corporate AV solutions with Barco’s business projectors

Kortrijk, 7 May 2014 – Visualization leader Barco and Swedish AV expert CapTech have just signed an agreement for the distribution of Barco’s business projectors on the Swedish market. CapTech is happy to expand its corporate AV offering, which has been including Barco’s ClickShare since December last, with the broad projector line. Barco, for its part, is confident that CapTech is the ideal partner to spread the success of its business projection range in Sweden.
“We’re really noticing how businesses are looking for smarter meeting-room systems,” says Fredrik Tidemar, Business Unit Manager AV & Large Display at CapTech Distribution AB. “With consumers having ready access to smart, easy-to-use, wireless solutions, the corporate market cannot afford to lag behind. ClickShare was a first good step to provide our customers with reliable, user-friendly and wireless corporate AV solutions. Adding the new corporate AV projectors to that offering seemed only logical.” Tidemar highlights that CapTech considers Barco a perfect fit for various reasons: “Barco is a respected brand that is synonymous with excellent quality and it has a unique and selective way of doing business, which we really appreciate. Its market leadership is reflected in its corporate AV product portfolio too, which is more high-end than that of its competitors.” 

Wide range, great design 
When asked what he considers the main benefits of the projector range, Fredrik Tidemar first mentions the broad choice: “The stack includes a solution for every meeting room, from a smaller room to a large auditorium. In this way, we can provider every customer with a solution that perfectly meets his needs.” Furthermore, CapTech praises the unique resolutions, like WQXGA, the excellent picture quality, the reliability and the innovative design of the projectors. The latter is, says Tidemar, increasingly important in the customer choice. The ‘ClickShare Inside’ option, which can be seamlessly integrated under the hood of the Present projectors, is highly appreciated as well. 

Extending the partnership 
CapTech’s market leadership - customer portfolio of 2,000+ resellers - convinced Barco to team up with CapTech for the distribution of ClickShare, back in December. Barco is delighted about the enthusiasm of the CapTech team. “CapTech has proven to be a highly professional partner,” said Gerben Van den Berg, Vice President Western Europe at Barco. “We are extremely pleased to extend our partnership with them and know that their experienced, dedicated sales team will help us strengthen the foothold of our business projection range in Sweden.”
