While infrared codes are standardized, infrared send and receive circuitry may often vary, depending on manufacturers. In some instances, voltage-driving IR output commands from the sending device may be insufficient, delivering only a partial code string or no data to the receiving device. The AC-IR-OC-1M functions as a constant 12 volt bridge between connected products, ensuring IR signal integrity is maintained and commands reach the intended device.

The IR output voltage for AVPro products is standardized at 5 volts (though our IR input stages may safely accommodate up to 20 volts).
