TEF - The measurement platform
The versatility of the TEF hardware platform has been enhanced to provide even greater capabilities for acoustic measurements. Sound Lab® Extras software was designed specifically to meet testing needs in electrical, acoustical and transducer applications. A powerful addition to your TEF tool kit, SLX contains many frequently requested measurements.

SLX - A sound reason to choose TEF
Besides the traditional Time Response (ETC) and Frequency response (TDS) tests, SLX performs the following:
*Harmonic Tracking
*Impedance (adapter cable included)
*FFT (amplitude versus frequency)
*Harmonic Distortion (specified harmonics)
*Total Harmonic Distortion
*Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise

Now you can easily measure impedance, locate "rubs and buzzes" and track specific harmonics in loudspeaker measurements. In addition, SLX has the ability to display results with percent octave smoothing of data and can print overlaid files of a single test type. You can turn the TEF into a noise generator and choose pink noise, white noise or a pure sine wave tone. Designed to be used with a PC compatible computer, SLX software supports color printing on any installed printer.

SLX - precision performance in acoustic measurements
SLX is a module that works with the TEF acoustical analyzer to create a complete and flexible sound measurement system.
