Maximum Length Sequence measurements
Now you can get TDS technology and TEF performance, along with the ability to do Maximum-Length Sequence measurements (MLS) in one analyzer. Sound Lab MLS software enables you to obtain an impulse response containing the entire audio frequency range over the measured time range. You can post process the data off-site to see information you didn't even think about when you performed the measurement.
Imagine being able to analyze a comprehensive set of measurement data out of a single measurement.

Power, flexibility, convenience
*Multiple display options include:
*Impulse, Doublet, Intensity, ETC, Log-Squared Impulse from Time Domain
*Magnitude, Phase, Group Delay, Heyser Spiral, Nyquist from Frequency Domain
*3-D Waterfall Phase
*NC
*Time can be further processed to find Phase, Instantaneous Frequency, RT60, %ALcons and Heyser Spiral
*STI/RaSTI
*Intelligibility can be found from impulse as STI, RaSTI or ALcons

The powerful DSP in the TEF guarantees sequence lengths from 5.3 milliseconds to 10.9 seconds, making the TEF implementation of MLS flexible enough to meet virtually any measurement requirement. Full bandwidth long sequences are especially useful for measuring large concert halls and arenas, while medium to short sequences can be used in smaller spaces and for electrical and speaker testing.

Impulse is stored as a WAV file for easy export to other applications, and all post processing is available for any WAV file.

You no longer have to choose between TDS and MLS
Combined with your personal computer and the appropriate software, you can transform the TEF into a TDS analyzer, noise analyzer, real time analyzer, and now, a maximum-length sequence analyzer. So, you no longer have to choose between TDS and MLS, as long as you choose TEF.
