Video encoder/decoder is designed for live video transmissions especially in the areas of traffic surveillance and crime prevention. It is equipped with a 4x BRI interface board and can therefore be directly connected to BRI interfaces on a PABX or to direct ISDN lines. A video signal can be transmitted with a maximum data rate of 512kbps. If one or more 64kbps channels are lost, the units automatically continue to work with the remaining channels.
