The Acoustic Technologies NR4800A is a unique design stage floor monitor system featuring 4x 8” bass / mid transducers in a quad coupled array providing superior transient response to conventional single driver systems. The low frequency components are centred around a conical wave guide coupled to a Neodymium H.F. compression driver. This geometry provides a coherent, coaxial-like output across the entire audio spectrum, with very low distortion and remarkably uniform polar response. The NR4800A is powered by an efficient dual channel Class D Amplifier Module complete with a fully integrated Switch Mode Power Supply. BvNET hardware and Podware software provides complete control and monitoring of the NR4800A’s amplifiers and internal DSP system and facilitates networking in multi-cabinet systems. Acoustic Technologies manufactures a wide range of loudspeaker systems which incorporate BvNET / Podware, allowing a fully networked system to be controlled and monitored from a single convenient location. For even more capability Podware can be used as a plug-in with AFMG SysTune. The NR4800A is constructed from the highest quality Finnish Birch Ply coated with Acoustic Technologies’ proprietary elastomer AcoustiCoate protective finish, providing a robust, durable and versatile stage monitor.
