How it works
If mounting screws did not already come with your rack ears, find and remove the mounting screws from the Gefen unit's chassis at either the front left or front right rack ear location. Once mounting holes are clear of screws, place a rack ear against the left or right side chassis of your Gefen unit. Line up the holes in the chassis of your Gefen unit with the holes in the rack ear. Screw in the rack ear screws until mounting is firm. Do not overtighten the screws. Repeat this procedure for the other side of the unit. Once rack ears are installed onto the left and right sides of the Gefen unit's chassis, the Gefen unit can be inserted into a rack space in your equipment rack, then tightened down into the rack frame with rack frame screws (not included).
