The metal Mounting Support Bracket has two ceiling clamps, which are secured with thumb screws in the ceiling hole. The bracket is also provided with two 4mm holes for mounting the bracket with two screws into thin (metal) ceilings. Two spring catchers (for accepting the V-shaped loudspeaker springs) are provided. The bracket provides a provision for attaching an optional safety steel cord.
