A-Net distributor distributes 16-channel Pro16 A-Net stream to up to eight Pro16 devices. It allows personal mixers in monitoring system to be connected in parallel. Its half rack space footprint make it the easy to install, two distributors can fit on single 1U rack shelf. For permanent installations, use A-16D's ability to send DC power down Cat-5e cables when installing floor pockets or wall jacks. User simply plugs Cat-5e cable into jack and digital mix data plus DC power for the mixer are delivered by single cable. It is also cost-effective way to refresh Pro16 A-Net signal for long runs in excess of 500ft/150m, to provide redundant cable path in digital snake or audio distribution system and to split an A-Net signal to multiple output locations. There is no limit to the number of A-Net Distributors that can be used in single system.
